My Roots

My grandparents used to have a room in their house where the walls had long book shelves filled with photo albums. I remember popping into this room often to look through the albums. Memories had been captured and frozen in time for many, many years before my arrival and I would spend hours in that room looking at family members I never had the opportunity to meet . A moment frozen in time that meant so much to me. It felt like such a powerful and fulfilling gift to be able to create and capture a moment. A smile, a first step , a gathering, or just a silly moment with loved ones. I knew in those moments I wanted to capture memories and freeze time for people cherish for years to come.
